Honorary Degrees
One of the highlights of UNC Charlotte’s Commencement ceremonies is the recognition of individuals for exceptional and distinctive service to the University or the larger community with an honorary degree from UNC Charlotte.
Nomination Process

The deadline for nominations is October 20, 2023. Nominations should be directed to Matt Wyse, Faculty Governance Assistant, Office of Academic Affairs, 223 Cato Hall, UNC Charlotte (mwyse@charlotte.edu).

The Committee is charged to work with the Trustees and the Chancellor to suggest individuals for honorary degrees.
