Harriet Hobbs joins the Office of Assessment and Accreditation

Harriet Hobbs is the new Director of Academic Program Review and General Education Assessment.  She joins the Office of Assessment and Accreditation.  Harriet is responsible for assisting faculty and staff in implementing, analyzing, and documenting assessment processes and procedures in order to demonstrate the quality and viability of its programs and/or services.  She will also collaborate with faculty and staff in the design and implementation of the General Education assessment process.

Before joining UNC Charlotte, she served as the Director of Institutional Planning, Assessment, Effectiveness and Research at Johnson C. Smith University.  Prior to this, she was the Director of Institutional Effectiveness and Planning at Bladen Community College.  Harriet holds a B.S. in Business Administration and a M.S. in Public Administration.
