New Adjunct/Part-Time Faculty Website

A new website created specifically to assist Adjunct/Part-Time Faculty in their teaching at UNC Charlotte is now available online. The site provides an overview of guidelines, policies, classroom guidance, and campus resources.  It is a broad overview to enlighten prospective adjuncts, guide newly hired adjuncts, or a quick reference tool for our more experienced adjunct faculty.

"Find Me Unafraid" selected as Common Reading Experience for 2016-2017

Find Me Unfraid: Love, Loss, and Hope in an African Slum has been selected as UNC Charlotte’s Common Reading text for Fall 2016.  The book tells the story of two young people from completely different worlds—Kennedy Odede from Kibera, Kenya, and Jessica Posner from Denver, CO. Chancellor’s Diversity Challenge Fund Accepting Proposals
February 11, 2016
The Council on University Community is accepting proposals for the Chancellor’s Diversity Challenge Fund.  The purpose of the Fund is to support initiatives promoting the daily value of diversity in the intellectual life of the campus.  Students, faculty, and staff are eligible to apply for awards up to $5,000.  Restrictions on state funds apply. Potential uses of the Fund include:
