Chancellor’s Diversity Challenge Fund Accepting Proposals
February 11, 2016
The Council on University Community is accepting proposals for the Chancellor’s Diversity Challenge Fund.  The purpose of the Fund is to support initiatives promoting the daily value of diversity in the intellectual life of the campus.  Students, faculty, and staff are eligible to apply for awards up to $5,000.  Restrictions on state funds apply. Potential uses of the Fund include:

Curriculog Curriculum Management Software Goes Live

The Office of Academic Affairs is pleased to announce that Curriculog is now live for campus use.  Curriculog is the electronic system that is replacing the former Short Form and Long Form process for course and curriculum changes.  NOTE: Short Forms and Long Forms will continue to be accepted through Spring Semester 2016; they will no longer be accepted after May 2016.

Department of Sociology Receives 2015 Provost’s Award for Excellence in Teaching

Department of Criminal Justice & Criminology Receives 2015 Provost’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising
October 16, 2015
The Provost’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Academic Advising is presented annually to an advising center, department, program, or unit that demonstrates a sustained and collective responsibility among faculty and staff to assist students in achieving their educational goals. Advising, says Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Joan Lorden, “means providing support and guidance to students so that they might reach their full, academic potential.”
